But Jefferson wasn’t the 100 percent strict on his views about the constitution, as shown in document G, he knew that the United States would have to show some progression with the years going by, meaning that eventual modifications of the Constitution were inevitable. He also mentioned, in the same document, that those changes would have to be of the most righteous principle’s, no unjust amendment would be ratified. The federalist ideas opposed those of Jefferson and Madison, as seen in document D, they even tried to make the republicans look like hypocrites, stating that the Madison administration was doing things that were unconstitutional in the name of the federal government that they opposed so much. But in the end these harsh remarks turned into negotiating bargains, as federalist and anti-federalists came to agreements.
